I agree the tablet speeds the process up dramatically and enhances the visual quality alot, as i found out when i got a WACOM to complete my animation The Myth Of Sisyphus.
I recommend the Wacom intuos 3 if you're looking for a tablet, though being an animator i'm pretty sure that you're aware of it :) But in the case of equal balance! I recommend any other make as well! :)
Oh and congratz on the frontpage:) is it your first? cause my first FP last month was with my greek myth! what a coincidence i guess they're good luck :D

Yeah man I'm definately going for a Wacom. I bought a piece of crap one a couple of years ago and it ended up being completely useless.
I was looking at getting a Wacom Graphire4 6 X 8 but do you think it's worth going up another notch?
